Website-Check terms of use

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms apply to the Website-Check on www.seelig.ai and to the "seelig.ai Website-Check" app in ChatGPT. Using the check means accepting them.

Provider

Yannick Seelig, Wetzikon ZH, Switzerland. Email: hello@seelig.ai.

What the check does

The check reads publicly reachable pages of the website you name and reports technical, SEO, accessibility and text problems. It is free and needs no account.

It checks public pages only, nothing behind a login, and follows the robots.txt of the checked website. It is not a security scanner and does not test for vulnerabilities.

Results without warranty

The results are generated automatically. Measurements such as Google PageSpeed scores vary over time. The check for typos, translation and date errors uses an AI model and can be wrong. Check a finding before you change your website because of it.

What is not allowed

To keep the check available for everyone, daily limits apply per person, per checked website and in total. I can change the limits at any time and block abusive use. You may not:

  • call the check automatically or in bulk, or get around the limits
  • use it to load or disrupt someone else's website
  • use it for unlawful purposes

Availability

The check is a voluntary, free service. There is no right to have it running at all times. I can change, restrict or end it.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I am not liable for damage arising from using the check or from decisions based on its results. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains.

Privacy

Which data the check processes and how long I keep it is set out in the privacy notice at www.seelig.ai/en/privacy.

Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Wetzikon ZH, unless mandatory law, for example for consumers, provides otherwise.

Changes

I can update these terms. The version on this page at the time you use the check applies.
